Gift Policy

Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to recognize and reward Pilots for exceptional performance, significant contributions, and achievements that align with Orbit Virtual Airlines core values, and objectives. This policy seeks to promote a culture of excellence, boost morale, and aid in the retention of high-performing talent within the flight simulator community.

Scope
This policy applies to all virtual pilots for and behalf of Orbit Virtual Airlines.

Types of Rewards
Rewards may be monetary or non-monetary, depending on the significance of the achievement.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a reward, an pilot must demonstrate performance that goes to a standard required.

Rewards will be granted as close to the achievement as possible and all reward decisions are made transparently and consistently, regardless of age, gender, race, or disability.

The Reward
New pilots will be started as a cadet and on completion of their first 40 hours over 10 planned flights with a score of 90 percent or more will be rewarded with a £10 Amazon e-card (currently only available to UK pilots) to use with their Amazon membership, they will also receive a silver certificate on their first achievement.

There will be no other e-card or a cash alternative for other reasons of a non Amazon membership.

Gold certificates will rewarded to those pilots completing the set hours to reach their ranks as set-out above.
